UA02240 Burmese Gilt Bronze Buddha, Ava Period (1287-1752) , seated figure depicted in the bhumisparsa (earth touching) mudra, with small "fruit" in left hand, peaceful countenance, attenuated earlobes touching shoulders, simple draped robes, seated on a tall, waisted lotus base, legs interlocked in the lotus position. Minor signs of wear, crack to base, loss to finial, overall good condition. 12" High. 17th Century. $2,100.
