UH10060 Burmese Mandalay seated cast bronze Buddha image in padmasana (the lotus position) on a simple raised base, the right hand in the bhumisparsa mudra (the earth touching position), the left hand (cast separately) in the lap, extended earlobes, inset shell eyes, domed usnisa, wide fillet band hairline, traces of original red lacquer and gold leaf coating, mostly remaining in the hair. Signs of wear and age, otherwise fine condition. 19-1/2” High x 14” Wide x 9” Deep. 19th Century. $2,400.
