UH10061 Burmese Mandalay seated cast bronze Buddha image in padmasana (the lotus position) on a simple raised base having an incised dedicatory inscription in front, the right hand in the bhumisparsa mudra (the earth touching position), the left hand (cast separately) in the lap, extended earlobes, inset eyes, domed usnisa, hair lacquered black wide fillet band hairline, simple heavy folded costume draped over the left shoulder. Signs of wear and age, otherwise fine condition. 12” High x 9-1/4” Wide x 5” Deep.
