KG70019 Tang white ware flask, Northern China from the Gongxian or Xing kilns, a squat white porcelaneous stoneware form with flat base, narrow neck and wide everted mouth rim, glazed in a translucent crackled glaze pooling in places with a slight greenish tinge, glazed overall stopping just on the underside of the body. One chip on the underside of the rim restored, glaze flakes at the mouth otherwise fine condition. 4-1/4’ High x 5-3/8” in Diameter. Tang Dynasty, (618 - 906).
