TH30010 Antique Chinese “Transitional” ware blue and white plate, decorated in under glaze cobalt blue of a scholar seated in a garden on center surrounded by a few concentric bands, the underside with three wavy spots and some concentric bands around the lip, foot rim and the base, small character seal on center. Minor signs of wear and age, otherwise fine condition. 7-1/4” in Diameter x 1-3/8” High. Transitional Period 1635 - 1650.
