UA03217 Chinese Changfangdeng (rectangular stool) crafted from Huanghuali with a hard-mat seat in a rectangular framed top with sharp edge and double beading on the inset waist, simple apron and elbowed cross strut, straight legs terminating in hoof feet. Originating from the 17th century, restored in the early 20th century with one replaced apron, minor signs of wear, otherwise fine condition.
