QH00028 Chinese woven carrying case, comprised of two pocket chambers, one fitting inside the other each woven of from fine paper string creating a ribbed pattern and the ends a basket weave on the sides and a cellular pattern on the flat sides of interlocking hexagons, lacquered overall in a red brown for rigidity. Minor signs of age and use otherwise fine condition. Measuring: 2-7/8” x 3-1/8”. Circa 1900. $350.
