NG73125 Japanese Shizen Moku (natural wood) carving in the form of an elephant, created from assembled gnarled root wood, standing four square as if in mid stride with the head slightly tilted and the trunk extending upward, complete with ears and tail. Minor signs of wear, otherwise fine condition. 14-3/4" High x 22" Long x 8" Wide. Meiji Period Circa 1900.
