QA05025 Chinese Yan Bao Jacket, Miao group, Dandu style from Duyun, Danzhai and Sandu areas, burnished (geri /garusu) cloth of cotton dyed with indigo and cow or pig's blood, burnished with egg-white to create a shiny surface, decorated with Wutou (the curative power of Buffalo horn and the medicinal fern) spiral batik patterns on sleeves and shoulders, embroidered silk "epaulettes," indigo-dyed inner collar, silk embroidered neck line with crossover and tied front opening, used as a women's festival coat.
