UH20079 Japanese Kofuku no inori gosho ningyo (a good luck palace doll), an unusual standing version holding the Buddhist gem (Chintamani), carved of wood and covered in several layers of gofun with painted features, velvet hair and painted silk crepe bib. Gofun cracks at the back, other minor signs of wear, otherwise fine condition. 4” High.
