NH22029 Japanese Dairibina pair of Kyohobina, the imperial couple displayed on Girl’s day, costumed in matching silks, black birodo velvet, kinran dragon and cloud brocades with the carved wood heads covered in gofun having painted features and applied hair, complete with folding fan, crown, scepter, sword and imperial cap. Minor signs of age, minor restorations to the textiles, hair and gofun otherwise fine condition. Measuring: 17” and 15” High. Edo Period, Circa 1800.
